DIRECTOR Pay Band: `75,000/- (Fixed) + `5000 p.m. as Special Allowance. Age: The candidates must not have attained the age of 60 years as on 30.08.2013. Indian Veterinary Research Institute, Izatnagar (U.P.)  Qualifications Essential are : (I A doctoral degree in any branch/ discipline of Veterinary Science/ Animal Science including relevant basic sciences. (ii) An eminent Scientist/teacher having at least 8 years experience in the grade of Principal Scientist/Professor or in an equivalent position in Pay Band-IV of `37400-67000 with grade pay of `10000, out of which 3 years experience should be in a Research Management Position or 5 years experience in positions specified below;

Friends you must be aware of the office of the State Insurance Corporation which  is a statutory body constituted under an Act of Parliament (ESI Act, 1948) and works under the administrative control of Ministry of Labor and Employment, Government of India.

Employees’ State Insurance Corporation proposes to fill up the 62 posts of Junior Hindi Translators on regular basis by Direct Recruitment.

The break-up of the vacancies is as follow :-

Post Name ; Junior Hindi Translator 62 posts (I Out of which 04 vacancies are reserved for Person with Disabilities as mentioned below :-

 02 vacancies meant for Persons with Disabilities (PWDs) are reserved for LV(Low Vision) and HH (Hearing Handicap) under the category VH & HH respectively and 02 vacancies are reserved for OH category with suitability for the post & physical requirement as OA, OL, BL & S,ST,W,MF,SE,RW,H respectively.

 (ii) 05 vacancies are meant for Ex-Servicemen.

 (iii) The candidates appointed under PWD and Ex-Serviceman quota will be adjusted against the vacancy of respective categories of SC/ST/OBC/UR.

Vacancies are at the Offices of the ESI Corporation in different States and the selected candidates are apt to be posted anywhere in India with all India transfer liability.

 Age Limit:- Not exceeding 28 years ( as on 01.10.2013). Upper age limit is relaxable for SC/ST candidates up to 5 years, for OBC candidates up to 3 years. Upper age limit is also relaxable for Govt. Servants (including ESIC Employees), PWDs, Ex. Serviceman and other categories of persons as per the instructions/orders Government of India.

Educational & Other Qualifications Required :- Master’s Degree of a recognized University in English/Hindi with Hindi/English as a compulsory and elective subject at degree level OR Bachelor’s Degree with Hindi and English as main subjects (which includes the term compulsory and elective).

 Those candidates who have passed B.A. (Hons.) in English/Hindi with Hindi/English as subsidiary/ MIL (Modern Indian Language) subject are eligible for the post of Junior Hindi Translators. (ii) Candidate must ensure that they have studied English and Hindi as main subjects and not as a paper in all three years of BA Pass course.

Selection will be made strictly because of competitive examination only as per scheme given below : a Scheme of Examination:-

 The Competitive examination will be held on the same day in two sessions which will consist of two papers viz :- Paper I – General English and General Hindi (Multiple choices) of two hours duration. Paper II – Translation from Hindi to English and vice- versa (conventional type) of two hours duration.

 Paper II of written examination shall be evaluated of only those candidates who secure minimum qualifying marks in Paper-I as may be fixed by the ESI Corporation. Qualifying marks for Paper I and Paper II will be fixed by ESIC considering among others, category wise vacancies and category wise number of candidates.

Only those candidates who will secure marks above the cut off marks fixed by ESIC and fulfilling the eligibility criteria will be considered for selection.

Syllabus :- Paper-I: a General Hindi : 100 marks (Objective Multiple Choice type) b General English : 100 marks (Objective Multiple Choice type) The questions will be designed to test the candidates’ understanding of the languages and literature, correct use of words, phrases and idioms and ability to write the languages correctly, precisely and effectively. The questions will be of graduate level. Paper-II : Translation and Essay : 200 Marks (Conventional Type) The paper will contain two passages for translation-one passage for translation from Hindi to English and one passage for translation from English to Hindi, and an Essay each in Hindi and English, to test the candidates’ translation skills and their ability to write as well as comprehend the two languages correctly, precisely and effectively. The level of the paper will be consistent with the educational qualifications i.e. of graduate level.

The Corporation requires Jr. Surveyors (Trainee) as per the details given as under;

 1.Jr.Surveyors (Trainee)- 13 posts , age  upto 25 years and Qualifications required : Diploma in Civil or Survey Engineering with minimum 60% marks.

The selected candidates will be inducted as Trainee Jr. Surveyor to undergo six (06) months training as per the training programme designed by the Management. During training period they will be paid a consolidated stipend of Rs.10,000/- per month. On successful completion of training, they will be absorbed as Jr. Surveyor in the scale of pay of Rs.10780-26410/-.

The candidates so inducted and are required to serve the company for a period of five (05) years (excluding the training period), deposition of their original certificates. The candidates inducted as Jr. Surveyor(Trainee) should execute a bond for Rs.2.00 lakhs viz., Service Bond, Bank Guarantee/Surety Bond on non-judicial stamp papers worth Rs.100/- each to serve the Corporation for a minimum period of five (05) years (excluding the training period). Fill Up Application Form providing details ;(1)Post Applied for; (2) Name of the Candidate (in Full Block letters); (3) Father’s Name; (4) Date of Birth & completed years of Age (As on 31/07/2013) (5) Permanent  Address; (6) Whether belongs to SC/ST/OBC/UR; (7)Address for communication (with Phone, Cell No. & e-mail ID) ; (8) Educational Qualifications: Technical (Name of the Institution, Examination Passed, Year of Passing, Class obtained, Percentage of marks); (9) Four (04) recent passport size color photographs 10 Details of Demand Draft sent: DD No. And Date Amount Name & Place of the Bank 11 Enclosures to the application: Place: Date: Signature of the Candidate.

Applications received after the due date will not be accepted. DCI is not responsible for any postal delay. No interim correspondence will be entertained. Incomplete applications will be rejected. Canvassing in any form will be  the disqualification. Those employed in Government/ PSUs, should apply through proper channel or “NOC” should be produced at the time of interview.
