Maharashtra Natural Gas Limited, is popularly known as MNGL and it is a Government set up. It is a company incorporated in the January 2006 with an objective to meet the distribution needs of City Gas at various districts in Maharashtra state .
At present, MNGL got the authorization for distribution of the city gas in Pune & Pimpri-Chinchwad city including adjoining areas of Hinjewadi, Chakan & Talegaon and subsequently later it may move onto other districts of Maharashtra as well . Although it is depending on economic feasibility of the company.
MNGL is a joint venture Company of two navratna PSUs viz. Bharat Petroleum Corporation Limited (BPCL) and GAIL (India) Limited, (GAIL) with the mission to supply clean and green (eco-friendly) fuel across the various districts of Mahararashtra State. Main business objectives of the company are specified as stated below;
1. To provide clean, environment friendly green fuel as an alternative to the conventional auto fuels like Petrol and Diesel.
2. To provide safe, convenient and reliable piped natural gas to its customers in the domestic, commercial and industrial sectors.
While transport sector will use Compressed Natural Gas (CNG), the domestic, commercial and industrial sectors will use Piped Natural Gas (PNG).
To maintain its pace with the increasing demands of its product the company regularly reviews its man powered and if needed the necessary steps to recruit the more staff is taken time to time.
As at present MNGL has issued the recruitment notice to fill the jobs of in the various projects;

3 Finance & Accounts; Commerce Graduate with qualified member of Cost Accountants or Chartered Accountants Institute or Full Time MBA (Finance) 01 post.
For all above positions educational requirement-;
Minimum 60% or equivalent from recognized university is required .
All positions are based in Pune.
