During my career as the Educationist what I found in youths of India, is that they live in dreams. They are away from the realities of life and that makes their approach towards their career sometimes wrong.
I would not say that dreams are bad to have in life. However such dreams which are beyond to the capacities of dreamer to make them true, can ruin the best period of their life. Many students I found were not interested about the Govt Jobs just because they wanted to go abroad for the jobs. They overlooked the opportunities of Government jobs in India .
What happened to them is a separate issue. However they lost the battles because they never calculated, their worth properly . We all have a kind of capacity of work according to our knowledge and our educational qualification and to some extent our nature also plays a very important role to build our capacities.
Therefore, before, thinking of going abroad, you should calculate your worth and you can take the help of any consultant. You can raise your caliber with the help of the experts available in the market. However we should be very cautious about the self estimation of our worth. Self-confidence is okay but self-over- confidence is not good.
If you are convinced that you are not very good in terms of caliber, try to join jobs in India. And In India the government Jobs are lately the best option to have. However be aware that most of the government jobs are available between the age of 20 to 35. These fifteen years are very important in your life. If you loose these years. You will loose your battle of making a strong and meaning full career.
Some may think that I am discouraging you to go further for good jobs and better prospects in abroad.
I am not discouraging. I am just trying to say that be realistic. I know that each won has a wish to have the career in abroad. However you tell me is it possible.?
Everybody cannot go abroad. And one has to understand it . As quickly you understand it is better and it may allow you to step forward to explore the various, other possibilities in India.
Yes you may get less money in comparison to the job salary is given in abroad. However there is a surety of the salary even if it is less.
Also after the launch of 6th pay commission we have seen a good amount of salaries are made available in Govt jobs. Also time bound promotion have also made govt jobs a charm to have. Don't forget that 7th pay commission is due to take place in around 2016.
