In addition to Basic Pay & G.P., the post also carry DA, HRA, Medical Allowance, Electricity Allowance, Hill Compensatory Allowance, Project Allowance (depending on the place of posting), LTC / HTC, EPF, Gratuity, Benefits for Indoor treatment in leading hospitals for Self & Dependents, Leave En cashment, Children Education expenses and other allowances as per the Rules of the Company are admissible.

.AGE :Minimum 18 years and Maximum 27 years as on 01-01-2013. Age is relax able by 5 years for SC /ST candidates and 3 years for OBC candidates of W.B. State only.
OTHER CONDITIONS: The candidates will be appointed after being found medically fit provisionally subject to receipt of satisfactory police verification reports. All positions are transferable anywhere in West Bengal. Selected Candidates will be appointed in the regular pay band, initially on probation for a period of one year. Definition of Persons with Disabilities Under Section 33 of the Persons with Disabilities (Equal Opportunities, Protection of Right and Full Participation) Act 1955 only such persons would be eligible for reservation who suffer from not less than 40% of relevant disability and are certified by a Medical Board constituted by the Central/State Govt. Accordingly, candidates with the following disabilities are eligible to apply. Candidates claiming such benefits should produce certificate in original (issued by the Competent Authority on or before the last date of online submission of application in the prescribed format available at the end of this advertisement) in support of their claim at the time of Interview/at any stage of the process. Persons with Disabilities will have to work in Offices across the State of West Bengal.4 Visually Impaired (VI) Blindness refers to condition where a person suffers from any of the following conditions namely (i) Total absence of sight, (ii) Visual acuity not exceeding 6/60 or 20/200 (snellen) in the better eye with correcting lenses, (iii) Limitation of the field of vision subtending in angle of 20 degrees or worse. Low vision means a person with impairment of visual functionality even after treatment or standard refractive correction but who uses or is potentially capable of using vision for the planning of execution of a task with appropriate assertive device. Deaf & Hearing Impaired (HI) The deaf are those persons in whom the sense of hearing is non-functional for ordinary purposes of life i.e., total loss of hearing in both ears. They do not hear, understand sounds at all even with amplified speech. Hearing impairment means loss of sixty decibels or more in the better ear in the conversation range of frequencies. Orthopedically Challenged (OC) Only those Orthopedically Challenged candidates who have loco motor disability or cerebral palsy with loco motor impairment of minimum of 40% and only those who fall in the following categories are eligible to apply: BL – Both legs affected but not arms OA – One arm affected (R or L) – (a) Impaired reach; (b) Weakness of grip; (c) Ataxia OL – One leg affected (R or L) MW – Muscular weakness and limited physical endurance. Candidates must have the ability to read, understand, speak and write in BENGALI / NEPALI.
Selection will be made on the basis of performance in written test and interview for all posts. Candidates called for Written Test / Interview shall not be entitled to reimbursement of travelling expenses. The Written Test / Interview will be held in Kolkata only. The candidates must ensure that they have requisite qualifications shown against each post as per layout of qualification and fulfill all the required criteria before applying for the post.
How to Apply: a.Eligible Candidates have to apply through online system of WBSETCL only.To apply visit www.wbsetcl.in Online submission of the applications will be allowed on the website between 20.08.2013 to midnight of 09.09.13. b.Candidates belonging to General / OBC-A /OBC-B/Ex-Serviceman / Meritorious Sportspersons/ Exempted Category/ Physically Challenged categories are required to pay a non-refundable Application Fees of Rs.400/- for post under sl no.1-5 and Rs.250/- for all others post together with Rs.22/- as bank service charges . SC / ST candidates from the state of West Bengal are exempted from application fees. c.United Bank of India has been authorized to collect the Application Fee, in specially opened non-operated current account on behalf of WBSETCL.Fees can be deposited at any branch of United Bank of India throughout India through a triplicate challan. Candidates has to approach nearby UBI branch with a print out of the challan in A4 size paper which will be auto generated by the application system after filling-up the Personal Data,Address,Educational Qualification and uploading the Photograph & Signature.On receipt of the fee bank will issue a unique Transaction ID and SOL ID of the collecting branch.This Transaction ID and SOL ID are to be filled up by the candidates at the time of online registration along with others particulars.Bank will charge Rs.22/- additionally as Bank Service Charges.There will not be any other mode of payment of Application Fee. It may please be noted that the second part of the challan i.e the Company’s Copy will have to be submitted by the candidates at the time of Written Test along with the Written Test Admit Card.Without this part no Candidate will be permitted to sit in the Written Test. Application fee can be deposited in between 21.08.2013 to 11.09.2013.
